This Year's Fair

The Fair this year is on Saturday 13th July 2024 - gates open at 12 noon and it takes place on Chelsfield Cricket Green BR6 7RL. Adults £5.00, children £2 and under fives free. Includes free programme.

By Public Transport

Our car parking is limited so if you would like to use public transport, you might find it easier! The R7 bus stops outside the Five Bells pub in the Village which is a short stroll to the entrance to the Fair.

Details of the R7 can be found here: R7 Bus Route from TFL

By Car

The Fair is signposted from the A224 Court Road and there are two roads in: Warren Road if you're coming from the Orpington direction and Church Road if you're coming from the M25 direction. Please park as directed by the marshallers and please park as tightly as you can.

The roads in the village are NO PARKING during the Fair. If you ignore this, you will either block the bus route or run a serious risk of your car being damaged by the heavy traffic. We cone off the roads to protect everyone.

Do we do cash back?

An emphatic no and nor does the Five Bells pub. The Fair itself accepts card/contactless payments on the gate, at the bar and in the tea rooms. Many of the traders and caterers will accept cards but not all and in our experience the Fun Fair do not accept cards at all. So it’s wise to get some cash before you arrive if you intend to shop or visit the Fun Fair. Chelsfield Village has no facilities other than the aforementioned pub and an inappropriately popular Fair so the nearest ATM is the BP Garage at the top of Charterhouse Road or the adjacent one in the shops at Saltwood Close. Or visit your own favourite ATM before setting out!

Can I bring a dog?

Yes, provided you have a dog, they're on a lead at all times and you clean up after then should they decide to make themselves comfortable.

Do you have disabled parking?

Because of the nature of our car parks which are just fields, we do not have dedicated disabled parking. We do however have a Disabled Set-Down Point right by the gate. Sorry but that's the best we can do!

If you would like to save time on the day and fast track your way in, you can buy tickets in advance by clicking the link below.Tickets will of course be on sale at the gate and we will be able to accept cards and  contactless as well as cash.

Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for children with under 5s admitted free. This give you access to the most outrageous Fair in the area with arena displays, live music and, of course, a flying display. We look forward to welcoming you to the Fair.
