The superb flying displays at Chelsfield Village Fair are sponsored through the generosity of local people and companies. In 2022, all being well, we will have the traditional exhilarating solo Spitfire display which has proved to be a huge draw in past years and, making a thirteenth appearance, Mark Jefferies in his Extra 330SC high-performance aerobatic aircraft. We are also delighted to welcome Dan Griffith flying the Shipping & Airlines De Havilland DH 90 Dragonfly. The Dragonfly is a 1930s luxury aircraft, the equivalent of a Learjet in its day. This twin propellor biplane is a beautiful aircraft and is a delight in Dan’s expert hands.
The cost of these displays is financed by Chelsfield Flying Club which is an informal body purely consisting of those who donate! If you become a Gold Member (£100 donation or more) you get the official and exclusive CFC ID pass which gives you free entry to the Fair and the satisfaction of helping to make Chelsfield Village Fair THE most exciting event for miles around.
If you would like to become a member of the Flying Club, please make a donation in one of the following ways:
