Despite slightly drizzly conditions, the 2009 Fair saw over 4,000 people gridlock the village in order to visit the Fair. The weather later in the afternoon prevented the De Havilland Vampire aircraft from displaying although he got as close as the M25 junction but earlier in the day Dan Griffiths pulled off the most stunning Spitfire display.
The new arena was a great success with two superb falconry demonstrations, a working dog show complete with guns and of course the superb Mike Delaney who wowed kids and adults alike with his amazing skills.
